Since March 2022, nxt agency has partnered with The Sharing group (TSG). TSG's broad portfolio of brands (including MyWheels, MijnDomein and EnergyZero) makes the right PR strategy per brand and as an organization as a whole essential. Joost van Rooij, Head of Marketing at TSG talks about the collaboration with nxt agency and what challenges are addressed in the partnership.

About The Sharing Group

"At The Sharing Group, we have numerous different brands. All those brands have one thing in common: they want to emphasize the power of sharing. But even though all these brands have this in common, they are also very different from one another. Each brand operates in its own segment and developments per segment and brand are very different. So how do we ensure that we have the right media outlets for our brands, both business wise and private, to get our messages across? We could use help with that," Joost says.

TSG is constantly looking for partners to help get its message and that of its brands out. "We have collaborated with other parties on various parts with varying degrees of success. We also try to gain knowledge from partners and adopt things ourselves. On the PR front, however, we still needed more help. nxt agency offers us that help. Together we work on the newsworthiness of a message, and determine on which channels the message should be spread and which communication strategy suits a message or campaign." For example, nxt agency has handled PR campaigns for various TSG brands such as MyWheels, EnergyZero and Dotlocal.

The collaboration has brought us a lot so far, says Joost. "With the help of nxt agency we have really accelerated our professionalization and boosted our PR. Both as a group and as individual brands, we know how to find the right press more easily and, as mentioned, more quickly. We achieve a high reach and get more out of our PR efforts. Moreover, nxt agency is an enthusiastic and energetic club, and we continuously explore how we can work together even better, for example when we involve multiple parties in PR activities," Joost concludes.

Acquisitions & mergers announced for MyWheels

In the project to publicize an acquisition/merger for MyWheels, The Sharing Group and nxt agencyt sat down together to reach different target audiences in the media. For the different brands, more than 80 different placements in national, trade and regional media were achieved, such as articles in Algemeen Dagblad, Eindhovens Dagblad, Financieele Dagblad, Business Insider, de Ondernemer and at BNR Nieuwsradio. In total, the partnership has so far delivered a reach of at least 30 million readers, viewers and listeners. Thus, the acquisition has become known to a large audience.
