Ennatuurlijk emerged from Essent several years ago and has grown considerably since then. "Ennatuurlijk has grown as a company. Where we used to be modest and let the big boys do the talking, we are now in a position where we are more than capable of doing this ourselves. And with the developments in the market and the growth of the company, the organization is now also ready for this," says Debbie Zweerts, marketing, PR and spokeswoman.
In addition, there is much to do around rising energy rates at the end of 2021 and in 2022. Those tariffs rose so much that Radar made a segment about it. "That was an opportunity for us to show our face on a major media platform and take a stand. It was the opportunity to give customers more insight into the why behind the price increases. This was the first big step towards more exposure for Ennatuurlijk."
The organization also recently took a close look at its positioning. The organization also wants to show that new positioning to the Netherlands. "We really want to grab a stage now, and PR and content marketing are a big part of that. It is important that we form and give opinions on important energy issues. But to do that successfully, we really needed a partner."

Nxt agency also recently advised Ennatuurlijk on how to deal with resistance. "We recently gave a journalist a scoop which eventually led to a piece from a perspective we didn't like. Johan then gave us excellent advice on how to deal with such a situation. Meanwhile, because of his advice, we were able to make new arrangements with the journalist that led to a very nice new piece."
Nxt agency also played a role in the early stages of the new core story to be developed. "There is an important focus on that now. We are determining which target groups we want to address with which message and what our central pillars are. Then we can be much more focused. We then also want to make all our media activities measurable, so that together with nxt agency we can work purposefully and efficiently on our exposure."
But the steps already taken taste like more as far as Debbie is concerned. "So far, so good. I like the cooperation. Nxt agency is approachable and always willing and available to help. Nxt agency thinks along and also gives its own opinion. That's important; they don't just sing along."
