Ennatuurlijk emerged from Essent a few years ago and has grown considerably since then. “And of course, as a company, it has grown. Where we used to be modest and let the big boys do the talking, we are now in a position where we can do this more than well ourselves. And with market developments and the company's growth, the organization is now also ready for this,” says Debbie Zweerts, marketing, PR and spokesperson advisor.
In addition, there is a lot to do about rising energy prices at the end of 2021 and in 2022, which rose so fast that Radar made a segment about them. “That was an opportunity for us to show our face on a major media platform and take a stand. It was the opportunity to give customers more insight into the why behind the price increases. This was the first big step towards more exposure for Ennatuurlijk.”
The organization has also recently reviewed its positioning. The organization also wants to show this new positioning to the Netherlands. “We really want to take a stage now and PR and content marketing are a big part of that. It is important that we form and give opinions on important energy issues. But to do that successfully, we really needed a partner.”

This has also led to follow-up agreements with, for example, the Eindhovens Dagblad to address more topics,” says Debbie.
Nxt agency also recently advised Ennatuurlijk how to deal with resistance. “We recently gave a journalist a first, which ultimately led to a piece from a perspective that we didn't like. Johan then gave us excellent advice on how to deal with such a situation. Thanks to his advice, we have now been able to make new agreements with the journalist that have led to a very nice new piece.”
Nxt agency also played a role in the initial phase of the new core story to be developed. “There is now an important focus on that. We are determining which target groups we want to address with which message and what our central pillars are. Then we can work in a much more focused way. We also want to make all our media activities measurable, so that we work effectively and efficiently on our exposure together with nxt agency.”
But the steps that have already been taken taste like more, as far as Debbie is concerned. “So far, so good. The collaboration is good.
